JCB N°47
From our collaboration with Jean-Charles Boisset comes this single-vineyard sparkling wine, named in honor of India’s year of independence - 1947.
The wine is the first barrel fermented in French oak barrels and then in the bottle itself for the secondary fermentation, following the Traditional Method of sparkling winemaking. The wine spends a total of twenty-four months in the barrel and bottle before it reaches your glass.
The pure Chardonnay comes from the sandy soils in Motewadi, giving the wine a prominent mineral note with aromas of green apple, tropical fruit, and brioche. It is rich in the mouth with a wonderful texture, a dry wine that pairs beautifully with Indian cuisine.
